What’s the difference between a coffee interview and a job interview?

What’s the difference between a coffee interview and a job interview?

A coffee interview is often more casual and for the recruiter/interviewer to get to know if you would be a culturally good fit for the company/role. A job interview is where the questions are more challenging as the interviewer needs to determine whether you have the skills and ability to undertake the role. You would provide examples of where you have done/achieved XYZ etc.

What to wear for an interview – Gents

Would recommend a suit with shirt no tie for more casual workplaces. better to overdress than underdress so best to ask if a tie is recommended. If the client is more mature, they may find no tie offensive.

How do I tell my employer I’m going to resign soon?

Outline your reasons for leaving, i.e. looking for a greater challenge, personal circumstances, career change etc. Being honest and transparent in your reasons for resigning is important as you want to leave on positive terms. You never know when you might need something again from your employer (e.g. a good referee)
