Coeliac Australia is currently looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team, based in either Brisbane or Sydney.
Coeliac Australia is a national registered charity offering membership, support and information services to Australians with coeliac disease and associated conditions requiring a gluten free diet.
This role will be instrumental in the development and implementation of Coeliac Australia’s marketing and communications initiatives to support our overarching values and mission. In particular, you will play a key role in how Coeliac Australia supports our key customers – being our important membership community. This will include scope to explore exciting new ideas regarding member benefits and communications, while developing and launching new programs to benefit our membership community.  Utilising your marketing know-how, you’ll play a key role in developing communication plans to help raise awareness about coeliac disease and diagnosis, helping improve lives! 

About you
You will bring to this role:

  • Experience driving the development and delivery of marketing and/or communications campaigns, activities and growth strategies.
  • Experience in a membership environment would be highly desirable (but not essential), as would be experience in crafting communications for health care professionals
  • 3+ years experience in marketing roles. 
  • Formal qualification in Marketing/Communications
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Manage projects and campaigns from concept to execution with attention to outcomes
  • Ability to work quickly, self-manage time across multiple tasks to meet deadlines and within budget.
  • Experience with content management platforms would be highly advantageous, as would Campaign Monitor/Mailchimp or similar.
  • Proficient with key Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High interpersonal skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
