This is an incredible career opportunity to work alongside the Founder/CEO to continue to build upon the success of this award winning and premium Orange winery. It has built a reputation for producing high quality cool climate wines and delivering exceptional visitor experiences.
  
Established 23 years ago this is a highly successful wine company. The business has a solid track record and is looking to appoint a  commercially driven General Manager to run the day-to-day business operations. The company has a positive forward-thinking 5-year plan to be the number ONE premium winery in the region.  It has a positive team culture of inclusion, contribution and care.
  
The position engages superior hospitality and service techniques to uphold the winery’s brand and customer experience.  Reporting to the CEO, this person, ideally, will have strong experience in leading teams, operations and managing budgets.
  
Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the hospitality and tourism business including: cellar door, restaurant, guesthouse, onsite and offsite events and functions

  • Warehouse operations and logistics
  • Local wholesale program
  • Drive the 5-year plan
  • Increase sales
  • Drive member acquisition
  • Ensure longevity of the Wine Club  

Qualifications:  

  • Relevant experience is essential

  • Tertiary level education
  • Minimum 5 years general management operations experience
  • Energetic, passionate individual
