We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Operations & Events Manager to lead our front-of-house team and bring our vision to life. This is a rare opportunity to shape extraordinary guest experiences at one of Orange’s most celebrated destinations.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Venue Operations
- Lead the daily operations of our cellar door, guesthouse and events with precision and flair
- Ensure excellence across all touchpoints—from walk-in tastings to booked events and overnight stays
- Deliver premium, personable service that reflects the Rowlee ethos
- Drive a seamless and elevated experience across dining, wine service, retail, and accommodation
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute a variety of private and hosted events—weddings, dinners, launches, and more
- Coordinate with suppliers, catering teams, stylists, and entertainers
- Create detailed run sheets and oversee all logistics to ensure every event is executed flawlessly
- Be present on-site during key events, including weekends and evenings as required
Team Leadership & Vendor Relations
- Recruit, roster, and lead a high-performing front-of-house team
- Nurture a team culture focused on excellence, hospitality, and accountability
- Build strong relationships with local producers, vendors, and creative partners
Systems, Administration & Reporting
- Manage reservations, booking systems, CRM platforms and communication tools
- Maintain accurate budgets, reports, and event documentation
- Ensure operational compliance with licensing, health & safety regulations
- Identify areas for growth and help drive continual improvement across the business
About You
- You bring proven experience in high-end hospitality, events, or luxury tourism
- You’re a natural leader with an eye for detail and a commitment to outstanding service
- You’re confident, composed, and professional in front of guests and stakeholders alike
- You’re digitally savvy, organised, and comfortable using CRMs and booking platforms
- You’re solutions-focused and calm under pressure, thriving in a dynamic environment
- You’re flexible and available to work weekends and evenings when needed
