Coeliac Australia is a leading national registered charity offering membership, support, and information services to Australians with coeliac disease and associated conditions requiring a gluten free diet.
This role will allow you to pursue your passion for B2B Business Development, as it involves the sales management and retention of existing Coeliac Australia partners and most importantly the growth of new business with new partners.

Ideally you will have experience in food and beverage with exposure to major food franchises desirable.

You will take responsibility for both the Accreditation and Endorsement programs and the delivery of financial targets to budget. 
The Coeliac Australia Gluten Free Accreditation Program ensures that the gluten free consumer can dine with confidence, where they see the TradeMark ‘GF’ symbol. The audit program for Food Service Providers to ensure that best practice processes have been implemented and participants are licensed to use the TradeMark ‘GF’ symbol on menus and advertising. 
The Coeliac Australia Endorsement Program licences participating businesses who meet the requirements the right to use the Trademark Coeliac Australia Endorsement logo on packaged and sealed products. Products bearing the Coeliac Australia Trade Mark logo provide a quick reference point and inspire trust to the consumer that they don’t need to read any further to determine if the product is suitable for them to consume. 
We are seeking to step change these programs with a dedicated passionate sales team member.
Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Acquisition through new business development and conversion of new clients as well as retention of current for both Accreditation and Endorsement programs
  • Quoting, liaising with clients, working with them to complete requirements (lab results and artwork), and become endorsed and then support the launch of promotional activities. 
  • Renewal – Manage updated proposals for renewal, liaise with client, check requirements are met and resign current endorsed partners. 
  • Salesforce – update SF with all activities, communications, and reporting 
  • Manage the online the Gluten Free Online Training module
  • Lead generation and contact for the Partnerships and Sponsorship team
  • Expos shows – represent CA at trade shows to promote resources and programs. 

About You:

  • Demonstrated success in a new business development role
  • A new business hunter, keen to lead the growth agenda for Coeliac Australia 
  • Proven Account Management experience
  • Ability to build partnerships from owner operated business to larger corporate business
  • Strong negotiation and contract skills 
  • Ability to work with attention to detail, self-manage time across multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • High interpersonal skills and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Proficient with key Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with Salesforce
  • Ability to work with attention to detail, self-manage time across multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Food and beverage experience ideal, but not essential
  • Exposure negotiating with major food franchises would be desirable
